Abbe Hills Farm CSA

Today Boonie, my Auntie Teri (who is visiting me from Seattle), and I visited Abbe Hills Farm CSA in Mount Vernon, IA. Laura Kraus, owner of Abbe Hills was kind enough to take some time out of her busy schedule to show us around and tell us about her farm and CSAs! Stay tuned tomorrow for pictures from our veggie pick-up day!

If you are interested in getting more information about Abbe Hills, please visit http://www.abbehills.com/.

Until next time, happy and HEALTHY cooking and EATING!

  4. Boonie looks so cute in his farmer outfit! In the case of my farmers market almost all the stands have organic produce. I always ask them but it is a very small percent who don't use organic methods. Like I mentioned on my blog, a lot of farmers can't advertise they are organic because it can take years and be very costly to get that certification. So glad your CSA finally started!
