- Beans (kidney beans, garbanzo beans, etc.)
- green beans
- cucumbers
- shredded carrots
- chopped bell peppers
- chopped hard boiled egg
- bacon bits (real bacon cooked and chopped up, not the fake stuff in the jar)
- grilled chicken
- tuna, salmon, shrimp, or crab
- diced ham
- diced tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and/or grape tomatoes
- sunflower seeds, croutons, sliced almonds, chopped nuts, and/or crunchy noodles
- cooked pasta
- Cheese, shredded or cubed (of course I would have this on my salad bar).
- An assortment of greens
- An assortment of dressings
The possibilities are endless and kids especially love having a choice of what to eat. Daniel points to all the different toppings he wants on his salad, he loves it!
Until next time, happy and HEALTHY cooking!
